This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through SunnyGiraffe.co.uk or through our main selling platform Etsy.com.

1. What type of information do we collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information.  We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information including name, email address, communications, comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendation and personal profile.

SunnyGiraffe.co.uk is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

5. How do we communicate with our site visitors?

We may contact you to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages or postal mail.

SunnyGiraffe.co.uk tracks personal information through the use of a range of cookies and other tracking tools.  Cookies that are used on SunnyGiraffe.co.uk are categorised as essential.  Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your computer to keep track of the settings you have selected and actions you have taken whilst on our website.  Our host platform service, Wix.com, uses cookies for important reasons, such as:

  • To provide a great experience for our visitors and customers.

  • To identify our users who registered to our website.

  • To monitor and analyse the performance, operation and effectiveness of Wix's platform.

  • To ensure the Wix.com platform is secure and safe to use.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to us), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order for example), if you contact us directly.

2. Why We Need Your Information and How We Use It
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

• Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with our obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
